Imagine swimming below aquamarine waters with a massive creature five times your size. The majestic whale shark is one of the most sought-after marine animals for scuba divers to photograph. The much-anticipated annual whale shark migration takes place in the Mexican Caribbean from June 1st until September 15th. The gentle giants of the deep, known to reach up to 40 feet in length, can be found in the waters around Isla Mujeres.
