A peace accord for Colombia ended 60 years of civil war, and this country is on its climb to becoming an ecotourism mecca. We will be planning a 7 day excursion to explore this biodiverse country that is being recognized for forest conservation globally.
This past month, Colombia’s Serrania del Chiribiquete has been declared the world’s largest tropical rainforest national park and new world heritage site.
We will explore the country’s environment and culture by traveling through their tropical climate along the Amazon rainforest and tropical grasslands, to both the Caribbean and Pacific Coastlines before trekking the Andes and immersing ourselves in the mountainous climate.
