Solitude & Utah’s Beauty
Modern luxury hotels are pushing the envelope in terms of locations and experiences. Disconnecting from the chaos of modern life and escaping to unique landscapes used to involved tents and 4×4 vehicles. Now, luxury hospitality operators like Aman Resorts are creating locations in desolate locations.
With room rates between $500 to $3,000 per night, this is premium property with all that one expects in terms of service and amenities.
Hot-air ballooning over the desert at sunrise? Helicopter or walking tours of the Grand Canyon? Boat tours of the vast Lake Powell? The isolation of the resort brings peace, but its location is close to some of America’s great western landmarks and experiences.
Seeking more solitude?
The resort recently opened 10 luxury “tent pavilions” between 1,800 to 2,800 square feet with one and two-bedroom options. They hate the term “clamping” as do I but this is a good example of it . . . and it’s amazing.
